A QUICK NOTE ~

I worked at Gates Corporation as both an intern and then a Graphic Designer and Front-end software engineer. I worked with many different business and information technology groups and contributed as a team-member for over 20 diverse projects. Most of my work is design related, but I did lots of CSS and html/JavaScript upgrades to various web applications and micro-sites.

While I continuously strived to modernize, simplify, and enhance Gates digital content, I was still making sure to creatively design inside two very strict brand guidelines that I’m sure you’ll notice below. It is unfortunately hard to notice here, but there are many ways in which I improved our web branding and digital presence while also maintaining and reinforcing those brand guidelines across a multitude of globally spanning sites and applications.

I am extremely grateful for all the projects and work I was able to accomplish during my time at Gates. I look forward now to new opportunities and continuing to grow, learn, and create visually stunning and remarkable work.

  • Carbon Drive Redesign

    I fully redesigned this site and worked with multiple business and IT teams to restructure content and implement this using Sitecore CMS.

  • Sustainability Project

    I designed an entire section of pages for Gates Corporation around sustainability. This was a highly iterative process as many different business groups had a stake in this project. Designs were created using Adobe Illustrator, and pages built using Adobe AEM.

  • IT Year End Video Animation

    This is something I am extremely proud of. I worked directly with Gates Chief Information Officer to create this year end appreciation video for IT. I created this in Adobe After Effects and most every asset I also created in Adobe Illustrator.

  • Ecrimp Redesign

    This is an online site and application I helped redesign and transition from php codebase to a react framework. This is a simple looking but complex functioning site and I worked with a very diverse and fantastic team to help completely upgrade this experience.
